Colleges do not know or track every good performer in every high school across the country.

Recruiting efforts focus upon evaluation and comparison of known talent much more than new talent discovery.

Once a student is known to a school, then a student evaluation and decision is made as to further attention through audition and interviews.

Offers then follow once student comparisons are completed and schools select their preferred candidates for openings.
